How this sound to you? Isn’t it sound so strange?! This is what the United Methodist Church has approved it lately in their General Conference that took place in April 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina – USA and passed it to be included in the church system by allowing these community of people to officially get a sacred marriage in the church either between a woman and woman or a man and man and allow these people to practice all holy work of God in which we as Africans considered those actions as ungodly and it is extremely rejected in our societies, either traditionally, or countries laws systems, or Christian laws. This is what compelled us to leave the United Methodist Church and join the the holy angles represented in the group of people of the Global Methodist Church who have also refused to honor such cynical tendencies.

THE BEGINNIG IS CHALLENGE - STEP TOWARDS TANGIBLE GROWTH

“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forwards ” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

As an excuse to not change! Bringing your life to a higher level is challenging and we obliged to deal with and rise to the challenges.

Our every survival need depends on our ability to stay awake, to adjust to the new ideas –especially the godly ones that will always sustain us to remain vigilant and to face the challenges of changes.

Undoubtedly, the new step that we have taken for the new beginning is final and we ready to move on with it – no matter what it takes, we are going to move with it. Because we believe that change is the only constant and those who have accepted this will always excel at life.

With changes happening around us will often end us losing things we love but it is also results in new beginning that we have determined to take by uniting ourselves as people of God to expand his kingdom in the earth.

CALL FOR NEW BEGINNING - FROM LIMBO TO CONCRETE GROWTH

Every day is a chance to begin gain. So don’t focus on the failures of yesterday, but learn from it and start today with positive thoughts and expectations.

It will be a mockery to credibility to those individuals who devoted for the sanctity of their lives to see churches are adopting bizarre systems in the churches of living God as related to LGBTQ issues. Throughout our long journey passing through a rough, muddy and thorny roads, we’ve experienced enormous challenges that have crippled our journey, but we determined to keep the ball rolling. Since we have been connected with United Methodist in 2008, and partially recognized in 2013, we were placed on limbo to function autonomously as a UMC and keep waiting to received the final approval from the UMC Global Ministry. While we were moving towards finalized step, we’ve lately explored massive internal irreconcilable differences within the United Methodist Church as a result of adoption and inclusion of LGBTQ in the church system. How this sound to you? Isn’t it sound so strange?! This is what the United Methodist Church has approved lately in their General Conference of April 2024, that caused massive splits of churches. We in Africa, especially in Nile Valley territories are extremely rejecting such ungodly principles that defy God’s principles and his plan for humanity.

Remarkably, our bishops in Africa don’t tell their congregations the truth as they are truly understood that if they do so, churches will be vacant, because no one in Africa will accept such behavior. So, they chose to do such thing so that they can keep their salaries , but we are not running after the money, but we are running after the divine nature of God’s will that can shape our paths towards the salvation and everlasting life.

That’s why we chose to join the group of angelic people who committed for sanctity of their lives and determine to live holy as God called us to be holy.

Highlight the Plight of Christians in our Territories

The plight of Christians in these Muslim countries reflects to the harsh realities faced by religious minorities around the world.

It’s crucial for international communities and organizations to continue highlighting these issues and pushing for greater religious freedom. As we shed light on these restrictive nations, the goal remains not just to inform but to inspire action and hope for those who suffer for their faith in silence.

Global Methodist Church – Nile Valley stands committed to supporting these brave souls, advocating for their religious freedom, and providing relief wherever possible.

By understanding and acknowledging their struggles, we can better assist them and reinforce the message that faith should not be a cause for persecution.
